Mrs McArthur and the eco warriors visited Mrs Heslop's allotment at Whinney Park. Mrs Heslop showed children around her allotment and explained to them all the different types of vegetables and plants that she grows. All children managed to do a bit of digging and planting of their own!
St Peter's Eco Warriors will be visiting regularly over the summer months as they all know how beneficial growing our own produce is. Not only does it taste much better but it reduces our carbon footprint and growing our own is great fun at the same time!
