East Gateshead Catholic Partnership are working together to provide additional opportunities to pupils, parents and local people to help them meet the needs of modern day living.
The partnership or "cluster" consists of 11 schools (1 Infant's, 9 Primary's and 1 secondary,) within which Headteachers and Extended services staff regularly meet to ensure positive, fulfilling activities can be made available across the whole partnership.
Whilst our work is ongoing to ensure we continually improve progress our range of activities further around our "core offering" we have made a variety of activities of available recently. For example, Karate, Cheerleading, skipping, Line Dancing, Basketball, Writing Clubs & Homework Clubs are amongst the many successes we have achieved.
A Family Learning English session in CHCS on 16th Hume, for our prospective new 7ys, achieved record breaking results! Over 110 people attended, representing 13 different schools which was absolutely fantastic! This was of great benefit to the parents and the children.
Our Y5 Cluster literacy project also attracted over 300 parents, families and community members to launch event on Thursday 25th June.
We are fully committed to offering First class provisions in all extended services and this will be a great framework to building lasting relationships between schools and their communities.
