Finding sources of funding is an ongoing challenge in the development of services to meet the needs of pupils, families and the local community. The websites below are useful sources of information.

Grants4schools
Schools can have a 7 day free trial on this website which identifies a whole range of up to date funding opportunities. The site gives information on grants to support all aspects of school core activities as well the Extended Schools Core Offer and includes:
A searchable grants database to help you find relevant grants for your project.
An interactive funding directory and mind map which provides a fast and convenient overview of the funds available.
Information on the latest bidding opportunities and application deadlines
If there is sufficient interest the Local Authority may consider subscribing to the site for all schools in the borough, so do please let us have your feedback.
Grantnet
The Grantnet database covers grants, awards, financial incentives and advisory schemes and holds details of 2,350 funding streams. The system is updated by the External Funding section within Chief Executives on a monthly basis.
This large database can be used to generate reports to assist with identifying funding streams for projects. A generated report will hold all relevant funding streams, a brief background to them, the criteria for the fund, funding amounts, application and contact details.

Continyou
The charity Continyou produces a monthly funding bulletin for Extended Schools available through the link.
Teachernet – Outdoor Learning Projects
This link identifies a range of funding, awards and competitions available for schools that want to embark on outdoor learning projects, although many of the funders also fund other types projects.
