The school band meets on Wednesdays after school and the choir meets on Thursdays also after school. Beginners’ ensembles meet during lunchtimes. All pupils who play an instrument at their junior school are guaranteed an instrument and lessons when they come up to Cardinal Hume. Rehearsals continue throughout the year building towards a number of annual events and performances e.g. the Advent Service at St Oswald’s church.
