Y6 have had a fantastic time in the capital city. Read the diary entries from some of the students below:
Thursday 2 July
We all arrived safely and with no time to spare set off for the Science museum. It was really interesting and we can't wait to tell you all about it when we get back! After the museum we refuelled at the Rainforest cafe...mmm! Then it was off to see 'Hairspray the musical' before returning to the hostel for a good nights sleep.
Friday 3 July
Good morning Gateshead!
After a good breakfast we are heading off to the National Gallery. It will be fantastic to see 'The fighting Temeraire' in all its glory! Then we are off to Westminster before returning to the hostel for a meal and another good sleep...this sightseeing business is tiring! We are having a brilliant trip and can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!
Wow !!!! London was Brilliant !!!! I really enjoyed Hairspray, The London Eye and the Houses Of Parliament ! The weekend passed so fast, I cant believe it was over when we arrived home. We had to leave our bags there, so we wouldnt miss the train, but luckily I had my valuables in my yellow bag (Which made it quite heavy). London was so big, I was terrified someone would get lost. Sorry, im sounding like my mum. gtg now, Bye!!!!
